The first place I had to explore at that time was Kawauchi. It was a typical Japanese suburb. The little houses and the thick green gave it a really charming feeling.
Sendai was the best I could have ever experienced in Japan. I think that my relationship with Japan would have been totally different had I stayed somewhere else.
